UPDATE - Reading your comments, we found out that the download link to Ace of Space v.1 is broken. It's all good now, so feel free to download the game. Thanks to Henkibojj for the heads up.
BlackShark has got a snappy homebrew game for us all. Entitled Ace of Space v.1, this 2D shooter was actually supposed to be entry to the $$$give away contest. Unfortunately for him, though, he didn't make it to the deadline. But nonetheless, why waste something as good as this when you can still share it to everyone, right?
And that's exactly what BlackShark did, bringing his creation over to our forums. So, this is his first real program in C, but we think it's looking suave for a first-time. What you have to do in this game is to shoot as many enemies as you can until they die. It's not that easy though, because they have this reincarnation thing going on, so they just keep respawning and so you just have to keep shooting at them.

PSP Legacy Release 4 PSP Legacy Release 4
Homebrew dev Sunray has dropped by our forums to release a new update of PSP Legacy, kgsws and Duke's port of DOOM Legacy for the PSP. Tagged as the fourth release, the latest update includes the following changes and improvements:
Fixed auto map rendering. Toggle with START button
WiiDoom 0.4.1 From Steve:I fixed the bug that caused the shareware wad to crash in 0
Quake Back at the Watchful Towers of QJ, a carrier pigeon has arrived carrying a mail from bLiNd (thanks!) informing us about the all important Auto-Installer for the fan-favorite and classic FPS homebrew for PSP, Quake v2
Project Starfighter Project Starfighter
Deniska, who brought us the 2d PSP homebrew FPS Kill Everything that Moves (vividily descriptive title, dont you think?), has released Project Starfighter V1.1 The game is a PSP adaptation of the open source Project Starfighter game from Parallel Realities. Project Starfighter is a horizontal space shooter with RPG elements
Apollonia Apollonia- Courtesy of a 5 day bug fix period for all entrants to the Dashhacks Homebrew Idol 2 comp, we have made some code optimisations and re-released.
We're pleased to say though, that this is the fastest/smoothest the game has ever run. Sure, when the action gets insance, the FPS suffers a little, but it is definitely an improvement over prior releases
Wolf3D - Spear of Destiny Wolf3D v4.0 - Spear of Destiny - Zack's really working double time on his homebrew game, Wolfenstein 3D. And why not, it's certainly hot on demand, and would probably be selling like hotcakes - if indeed they were hotcakes and he did decide to sell them.
Anyhow, just after coming out with version 3.0, we're now given version 3.40
