Mario Kart 64 V3 (English release) - While the Mario Kart series has always been a Nintendo exclusive, it doesn't mean PlayStation fans will never get to experience racing against the best racers in the Mushroom Kingdom. Developer SeanPaul223 recently released the third version of a homebrew port of Mario Kart 64 for the PlayStation Portable.

The latest build of Mario Kart - PSP Edition includes a lot of new features which considerably bulks up the game's content. Players can now play additional game modes, using up to ten different characters. In addition, there was a total revamp given to the game's sprites and graphics.

As for the rest of the new features, you can view them through the latest changelog we've listed below:

#2 Modes: Cup Event & Race
# Three Cups are included, but only one is fully playable
#Mushroom Cup (Luigi's raceway, Moo Moo farm, Koopa Troopa Beach, Kalimario Desert)
#Flower Cup (not yet playable. Will be added into the last release)
#Star Cup (not yet playable. Will be added into the last release)

#Race Mode: 6 tracks are available, in a solo or a two players race mode

# 10 Characters are available for playing
- Bowser
- Donkey
- DryBones
- Luigi
- Mario
- Princess Peach
- Petey Piranha
- Toad
- Luigi
- Wario
#The playing time was increased. (8 laps to complete a race)

# The Module for managing Best Times have been ameliorated

# Sprites and GFXs were changed (By JOY6679)

# Freezes Fixes

# All Bugs Fixed

The game comes in two different language support "flavors" - French and English. Just download the appropriate version and rev up those engines. As always, don't forget to check out the game's Readme.txt file before copying any files into your handheld.

You can also drop the developer a line by visiting his release thread on the PSP Development forum, accessible through the link we've provided in the main article.

Deal or No Deal (CFW 3.xx) Those who've been with QJ.NET for quite some time now might remember the old homebrew game released by coder AdePSP called Deal or No Deal. Needless to explain, this is a port of the game show that became a phenomenon around the world. The last version of that specific game was only compatible for PSP firmwares 2.0, 2.01, 2.5, and 2
Portaball PSP Flash GamePortaball PSP Flash Game
Portaball PSP Flash Game  Here's another PSP flash game from Shallan called Portaball. Playing around it for while gave me a quick impression that it is a clone of the classic Breakout game, where you bounce the ball using a paddle to prevent it from falling and in turn bashing all the bricks above it
Lunar LanderLunar Lander
Lunar Lander, by thepixelatedpoo, is a remake of a classic game where you must traverse the dangers of the moon's surface and struggle against the lack of gravity to safely reach the landing pad in tact
Ghost In The MatrixGhost In The Matrix
Ghost In The Matrix Ghost in the Matrix game for the PSP, version 0.2. The aim is controling the ghost (in yellow color) to survive in the matrix. The agents will try to hit you. If you dodge a agent sucessful, you scored. However, there are two kind of agents. The white agents take your health. The green agents heal you but "summon" more agents
Christmas Pac ManChristmas Pac Man
Christmas Pac Man It isn't a surprise that we see a great deal of Pac-Man in homebrew games, we even saw him in a racing game (Pac-Man World Rally), and as a part of a minigame in Namco Bandai's Smash Court Tennis 3. Well, newcomer PlayStation Portable homebrew developer lukespalding dropped by the QJ.Net Forums to post a Pac-Man project - Christmas style

Super Mario Power CoinsSuper Mario Power Coins
Super Mario Power Coins- The game is actually a Xandu rendition of Super Mario Power Coins (one we played is in Spanish). It may be a clone, come to think of it, except that you can jump and do other things with the O, X, and the arrow buttons, which you can't do in the original flash game. Also, you get to level up pretty quickly
3D Mario Demo source code3D Mario Demo source code
Here's something to prove that the PSP is fully capable of running homebrew 3D games, and that it isn't out of the reach of developers to make a homebrew 3D game thanks to SANiK who has just released his Mario demo for the PSP
JPong v0.7JPong v0.7
JPong v0.7 Developer Jaklub's homebrew game JPong has been updated to version 0.7, and the revival of the Atari classic for Sony PlayStation Portable users now sports 2 additional obstacle modes, plus noted special effects for the opening menu. The cosmetic changes also slide down to the Eboot design
Leo's PongLeo's Pong
Leo's Pong  Pong will never die out. Just look at the number of homebrew Pong games for the PSP. Over on the DCEmu forums, another title makes its way onto the list of Pong games for the PSP, thanks to Lua coder Leo Carbrera, also known as L-28C
