Pig Rabid demo

Developer pierrodu50, the creator of the KillS v3.7 homebrew, has recently announced the release of a demo game titled Pig Rabid. The game's basically a side-scrolling hack 'n slash adventure, where you control a sword-wielding pig as it travel from one world to another. Here are the controls in case you're interested in giving it a shot:

* Cross: skip
* Square accelerate (if energy permitting)
* Joystick: Controlling the character
* Right trigger: attack
* Left trigger: defend itself

We remind the readers that this is just a demo. pierrodu50 notes that Pig Rabid's full release will include more monsters, and a game history. We further remind the readers that this game's in French, so you'll want to have a translator (or a French-literate friend) handy when you run the game. Those interested in reading the author's notes for this game will want to visit pierrodu50's release thread.

Super Mario Hunt for PC Now here's a nice hefty release from homebrew developer Sp3ct0r. He's got four homebrew games in store for the PSP: AniMayhem v2, Containment, Mario Classic Clone and Super Mario Hunt. Lastly, there's Super Mario Hunt. Just as its name implies, it's actually a cross between Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt, with a more violent twist

Sonic Avalaunche - Ti-83 Port Update Xodiac21 from our forum has released an update to his Avalanche port. Avalanche is a game that was originally released for the Texas Instrument TI- 83 in the mid 1990's. In this update, he has updated all of the Graphics and Menus and cut level time loading in half. The speed has been adjusted from
ParKing v1.0ParKing v1.0
ParKing v1.0 Homebrew developer taeky has released a new PSP game called ParKing. The aim is to parallel park your car as quickly as possible. You only have a limited amount of time to park your car, so it can be quite frustrating the first couple of times you try. Your car doesn't explode once time runs out - you just run out of gas, and the round is over
PSPRobots Here's TacticalPenguin's latest homebrew game, PSPRobots. This is a clone of a simple game known as Robots. All you need to do in this game is to dodge all the robots while at the same time making those robots run into each other. You can also teleport away when the robots get too close to you
Mobile AssaultMobile Assault
Mobile Assault - arcade game, fly on the map in a helicopter and destroy opponents. It's only been a couple of weeks since 1.4, but Justin and I figured we've added some important changes to justify a 1.4.1 release. The first fix is to address the rare crashes that we were getting on startup with iPhone
Dodgin Diamonds IIDodgin Diamonds II
Dodgin Diamonds II Cpajuste calls them crappy, but we think they're the start of something really good. He's ported some old GP2X games for use with the PSPs, and while all the features aren't there yet, they're pretty nicely made ports. The ports are of the following games: DCircus, Defend, Dodgin Diamond II, Pang, and Yeti3D
PSPokemon  For an Alpha release that's coded in Lua, this is pretty well done. And to think, it's sony_psp_player's very first homebrew game. It's called PSPokemon, and from the name itself, you'd know it's (in the developer's own words) "a Pokemon clone

Fishguts (test version) Fans of CRPG games such as the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons titles for legacy consoles (like Commodore 64, NES) should take a gander at _df_'s homebrewed CRPG project, titled Fishguts. Now don't let the name turn you off, since Fishguts may just be the game you're looking for in this vast, open sea of JRPGs
