TIFF Space Invaders

Yet another TIFF homebrew game makes its way into our PSPs as SG57 has just released v0.1 of his take on the classic Space Invaders.

This game has been handcoded, and at the moment makes use of ASCII invaders. However, the creator ensures that this game will be playable on 2.70 to 2.80 firmware. Other firmware versions that it will be compatible with include 2.0, 2.01, 2.5, and 2.6.

To install this game, just copy the "Invader" folder into the "photo" section of your memory card. Just enter that folder andthe game will start automatically.

Mario Kart 64 V3 (English release) - While the Mario Kart series has always been a Nintendo exclusive, it doesn't mean PlayStation fans will never get to experience racing against the best racers in the Mushroom Kingdom. AvalancheAvalanche
Avalanche  MaSt3r_ShAk3 from our forums has released the final version of his homebrew game coded in Lua, Avalanche v4. Avalanche is a game in which you have to avoid the falling spikes. This game has changed so much since MaSt3r ShAk3 first released it back in April, then called Stick Avalanche
Prince of TennisPrince of Tennis
Prince of Tennis  Homebrew developer Naruto93 just released his own take on the classic game of Pong over at PlayStation Portable (PSP) online site PSP-Gen. Mario AdventureMario Adventure
Mario Adventure Somehow, it feels a bit weird for Mario to be carrying an HP status display, but we can dig it. DON released an RPG-styled game called Mario Adventure for PSPs, and it's a quirky little thing, mostly because we keep imagining Mario as a Final Fantasy character as a result. Mario Adventure v0
Icy TowerIcy Tower
Icy Tower-It looks like german PSP coder Fredddy has gone Lua coding mad and released an update to his LUA Icy Tower homebrew game clone of Icy Tower, a freeware game originally released by Free Lunch Design back in 2001. The game features a Tower which consists of floors in different sizes and is of infinite height
PangPang
Pang  Cpajuste calls them crappy, but we think they're the start of something really good. He's ported some old GP2X games for use with the PSPs, and while all the features aren't there yet, they're pretty nicely made ports. The ports are of the following games: DCircus, Defend, Dodgin Diamond II, Pang, and Yeti3D
Chickey Chick v0.7sbChickey Chick v0.7sb
Chickey Chick v0.7sb This might be the cutest entry to Scenery Beta 2008 yet. Called Chickey Chick, the game was inspired from the classic New Zealand Story from Taito, which was adorable. Chickey Chick is a platform game where you have to guide a chick through level after level of dangerous enemies
Super Mario Power CoinsSuper Mario Power Coins
Super Mario Power Coins  Posting this blog meant one thing: We're going to have to get away from the PSP for a few minutes and share to you what Xandu has recently published in our QJ forums. Which really sucks, because we just got hold of his Super Mario Power Coins v.1.0 and wouldn't stop playing, if we could
